Today I went to the graveyard to take some pictures for my poster background. I took 14 pictures in the graveyard.

11/11/16 Blogging update

Today me and Nathan and Oktawian are finishing off the filming that we have left. This is the remaining 4 scenes. These all take place indoors.

10/11/16 Blogging Update

Today me, Oktawian and our main actor Nathan Crosby started the filming for our production in my house in Pawlett, as well as the local graveyard. We filmed the last 2 outdoor scenes, as well as pick out the antagonists weapon (a 60+ year old hammer).

01/11/16 Blogging update

Today me and Oktawian chose and bought a mask for our Horror trailer. We have also been looking for a weapon and the several other pieces of equipment that we need.

17/10/16 Blogging Update

Today I have chosen 3 fonts (Friday 13th Bonus, Creator Campotype and Insomnia) which are going to be the three front running fonts for my horror magazine front cover. I have also got a poll for the choosing of my name for the magazine, as well as one for choosing the font.

Today I added our location research and the scripts to my blog for people to look at.

Today me and Oktawian scanned in our Shot lists and storyboards, and put the latter onto our blogs. I also added on an extra week to the survey on my blog about horror films, due to the lack of responses and the fact that I didn't have the storyboards on my blog when the survey went on my blog.

Today me and Oktawian started writing our script for our trailer "Sepulchral",and we also finished our shot lists and storyboard ideas too. We will be putting these scans on our blogs in the next coming days.

Me and Oktawian finished our props list, risk assessment and started our location research, Today I also started a poll on my blog to get the audience research underway. This poll helps us to understand our target audience, and who to aim our trailer at.

I started and finished my last magazine analysis. For this I did an "X-Men Origins" magazine.

Starting making edits to my 'Suicide Squad' trailer analysis, while also conceptualizing ideas for our own horror trailer from yesterday (22/09/16) and today.

Blogging Update 19/09/16

All of my film poster analyses are completed and on my blog, as are all of my magazine analyses too. All that's left to do are the rest of my convention tables and to get them on my blog. Today in class we will also be going over Carol Clover's theories of "The Final Girl" and the "Terrible place" theory.

I've finished my Lighting and colour analysis on the Babadook trailer, which is now on the same page as my trailer analysis with the Insidious analysis.

Our class went over typical horror conventions, and added some important information to my trailer. This allowed me to finish my second draft of the edited trailer.

I finished my first draft of the edited Insidious trailer, and also had to get the draft looked over by Mrs Brown, incase there was anything that I missed out.

I started editing the Insidious trailer in IMoive .

We started the Media A2 work by choosing a horror trailer to analyse. I picked Insidious 2011 to analyse in IMovie. I had to wait for the technicain's to change the file format of the clip.
